Dr. Judy,
Mental Health Specialist
Judith Cameron, PhD (Dr. Judy) has been a passionate caregiver and advocate for children with developmental, learning and behavioral differences for over 30 years. Her current work focuses on coordinating integrated care and community resources; coaching parents and children; optimizing education plans; and acting as family advocate with schools and medical providers. Families come to her with a variety of challenges ranging in ability from severe learning challenges to highly gifted. No named or suspected diagnosis is necessary. Labels can be helpful in some settings, but can also distract from seeing the unique needs and goals of individuals.
Our goal is to restore harmony within families and renewed progress and success in school. As the parent of 4 successful daughters with challenges including severe anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia, gifted perfectionism, OCD, and traumatic brain injury, she is familiar with family challenges on personal and professional levels.
Free time is spent reading, enjoying family and friends, training dogs, and doing volunteer work.
